The Inter Glacier is part of the standard Mount Rainier climbing route and is used by climbers to get to Camp Curtis, Camp Schurman, or Mount Ruth. The head of the glacier is just below Steamboat Prow and the toe is near Glacier Basin camp. While it may appear to be just a steep snowfield, it is a living glacier with crevasses and other hazards. Glacier travel experience and equipment is required.
