Did the 3 peak exploratory traverse scrambling from Mailbox peak, to Dirtybox peak and heading east to Dirty Harry's Peak.

Headed up mailbox old trail. Completely snow free now.

Headed east from Mailbox peak towards Dirtybox. This is a class 3 scramble. Some slightly sketchy areas. Lots of post-holing next to the tree bases. Took about 45 mins to get to Dirtybox. Entered our names in the Dirtybox register. We were the first one's in 2019 to have our names there :).

Then headed on east towards Dirty Harry's Peak. This part of the scramble is class 3 bordering on class 4 and definitely not for the weak hearted. There were some super spicy area's to climb down from and the melting now in some areas made it even more interesting. WTA(I think or someone really awesome) has done a bang up job of adding pink ribbons to mark the rough route. After some very sketchy climbs, we entered the treelike and found ourselves on the face of a vertical peak with no apparent way to be seen ahead. The GPS was showing that the summit was right about us. We tried limbing straight up, but it was very risky considering we were scrambling without ropes. If you find yourself in such a region, head right, loose some elevation and get back up from the south side of the mountain. We took about 1 hour 20 mins for this section, but mainly because i fell in one of the snow/muddy slopes and took some time climbing back up. This should be half the time in summer i would assume.

We had lunch on Dirty Harry's Peak and headed down the trail towards the Dirty Harry Trailhed. DHP Trail has snow on the top 1 mile. 1 ft deep slushy snow. But apart from that, completely snow free and nicely maintained trail.

On reaching the DHP Trailhead, we took the Grouse Ridge Road to head back to the Mailbox peak trailhead. In 2.3 miles, this road goes straight towards the Fire Training Academy Gate. You need to bushwhack a bit to go around the right side of the gate and on the north side of the academy from where a connector trail begins that connects to the Mailbox Old
Trail. This connector trail is marked with huge orange markers by the fire academy. But it climbs way up to connect to mailbox old trail, keep watching the old trail on gps and cut through from the connector to the old trail wherever you see that they are fairly close together.

Connected to mailbox old and climbed down to the trailhead.

14 miles, 5880 ft total elevation gain, class 3-4 scramble, 8 hours 30 mins.

This one is a must do if you love scrambling. Happy Hiking.

Sounds like a great loop. Do you have a link to a Strava track of it? I don't need the GPS file, just looking at where you went in addition to the description would be helpful. (I tend to include that in my trip reports if I'm doing something off-trail.
Thank you!
