Unexpected beauty

After hiking up to Wallace Lake, we saw the sign for Jay lake and kept on going. Jay was a surprisingly beautiful little lake. Lots of winter color cast some nice reflections on the glass still lake.

North Head/Benson Beach

North Head Light House taken from Benson Beach. This light house has been in service since 1898. The Columbia River entrance/bar is one of the most hazardous in the world so this light house plays an important role in navigation.
