Type of HikeDay hike
A wonderful hike starting on the park butte trail, and had no problem with the dog crossing the first suspension bridge. We took the second right entrance to scott paul trail from the park butte trail, unfortunately we weren't able to enjoy the whole flower show to come on this trail- as we couldn't carry the dog over the suspension bridge of wood slats, and the creek was still too high for dogs to cross safely. That bridge is bouncy when you are trying to carry a pooch. So we detoured back to do the park butte trail and had a great hike anyway with frequent berry stops. Also two ground hornets nests on the trail activated by the dogs, they quickly recovered though. We will have to go back when we can see the mountain, with the clouds only one glacier visible but hey you can't complain about that. Nice trail work WTA!
