WTA will be closed on November 23 so staff can enjoy the outdoors with friends and family. Will you join us?

In 2015, REI began the #OptOutside movement by closing its stores on Black Friday to give their employees the chance to spend their time with loved ones and go outside. This year will mark the fourth #OptOutside initiative.

As an organization that prioritizes getting outside and protecting the landscapes of Washington, WTA will be closing our office doors this Friday, November 23 so the WTA staff can spend the day with their loved ones and #OptOutside. We asked WTA staff to share why they plan on participating in the #OptOutside movement, and their passions for the outdoors.

Whether you spend the holiday in Washington or out of state, we hope you chose to #OptOutside this Friday where ever you are. Have fun and we’ll see you on the trails!
